Here are some stories I have written hoping that they would be interesting and tell
something about myself.
I have included the live sketch of Alfred Alder written by Reuel Alder because it
is how I learned about my great-great-grand-father.
Leaning a little about him meant a lot to me while I was deciding to
make computer engineering my career.
Alfred studied mechanical engineering in England.
He worked on steam engines, which was the latest technology in his time.
Steam engines helped bring in the Industrial Revolution.
